Gordon Kibbee was a free-lance illustrator from the early 1960s, to about 2000….creating art work for many advertising agencies, newspapers, corporations, studios, etc….and magazines, such as TV Guide, Redbook, Saturday Evening Post, Playboy, Venture, Ranger Rick, and record album and paperback book covers. Gordon was nominated for a Grammy for his Album Cover artwork on “Baroque Fanfares and Sonatas for Brass”.

He illustrated a series of childhood stories that were written by close friend and highly regarded writer, humorist, radio and TV personality….Jean Sheppard. Gordon has written and illustrated two of his own unique children’s book with a quintessentially personal take on our life among the cosmos!
